THE FRUIT:  A COMMUNITY OF LOVE

When fruit drops, it questions neither its timing nor its identity.  Embedded instead in the trust that its falling is its calling and its name the same as its root, with no clinging to its past or attachment to its outcome, it gives itself over to the grounding of the moment with the transcendence of Truth.  It offers itself to the Universe as the lavish, luscious extension of the seed that it is.

These community pages and our e-newsletter are the fruit of our intention to create a home of hope and purpose for a family of unconditional Love and transformational change that will in turn yield One World.  Kell began The Consciousness of The Christ:  Reclaiming Jesus for a New Humanity with this bold manifesto for us:  “What is called the Second Coming is the illuminating, holy fire of many of us united in Love and Forgiveness, studying instead of war, peace, and acting with unconflicted intent toward one world of Peace.  We are a vanguard that heralds a destiny of Love, fully human, newly human. . .”

As co-producers, Kell and I now offer Heaven on Earth:  A Community of Love to those of us on the path, or spiral, of evolving into a people of absolute Love and Forgiveness, ready to take the steps, or quantum leap, to nurture our New Humanity.  This is for those of us hearing the call to bear the fruit of our vision through a marriage to compassionate, collaborative activism.  With “single purpose, unified and sure,” we answer, unafraid.

Gazing at this post-9-11 world, as always, we can choose fear or Love.  We can cling to our grieving for our perceived losses and lacks, our attractions even addictions to the paradigm of death and depletion.  Or we can go on about our business, this sacred trade of making ourselves whole, this holy career of Christing ourselves in Community.

In The Gospel of Thomas, our brother Jesus de-emphasizes the family by blood in favor of such a family by Love.  In one passage, he helps us to see it this way, “Love your sibling like your soul, protect that person like the pupil of your eye.”  As usual, he was promoting radical “family values!”  In your face! 

In such an organic family of Communion, all are welcome, and each has a role to play on which the plan depends.  In such a Community, there emerges a synergy that combusts Love in ways that exceed our typical constricting, Western thinking.  I love the Sufi saying that suggests the expansive ramifications of this divine kind of “math”:  “You think you understand two because you know one and one makes two.  But you must also understand and.”

Kell and I see our role as fellow teachers or “co-combusters” of the fire through you, with you, and in you.  We welcome your participation in this “miracle of joining” as together we joyfully multiply the loaves and fishes of Love and Peace!

The Hindu sage Ramana Maharshi said, “The idea that there is a goal. . .is wrong.  We are the goal; we are always peace.  To get rid of the idea that we are not peace is all that is required.”

Teaching and learning how to let go of the idea of attachment to goal and become the idea of Peace, 100 years ago (on 9-11-06) Gandhi began his “experiments with truth,” making each a “child” of the extended family of Love.  Let us, as sisters and brothers, continue our teaching and learning together through this “experiment” in soul-growth, offering luminous fruit for all who would taste and share its indescribable Christ-truth.
